From the 10th September 2009, all lorry drivers (vehicles over 3.5 tonnes) will be required to hold a CPC in addition to their LGV vocational driving licence.

Modules 2 & 4 Initial CPC. This is for any Driver who passed their test after 1997 who do not have acquired rights to C1 on their licence.

Module 2 is a case study test carried out at the theory test centre, module 4 is a practical show me tell me test Essex Transport Training carry out the training in the morning and test you in the afternoon.

Periodic Driver CPC courses (in association with Essex Transport CPC Training) include:

customer care and fuel effecient driving (7 hours.)

accident prevention, reporting and basic 1st aid. (7 hours)

ADR packaged goods and Tanks (21 hours)
